I thought I better get this card posted. It is the third one I did this month as the SFYTT guest designer. I have had a blast with Verve stamps and Jen's awesome sketch. You still have a little time to join in for August.

I used Joyful Blooms and colored them with Copics. The text is a Hero Arts background stamp.

Twists and Turns

Happy Tuesday!!
I just realized I needed to show up here and post a few cards! We have spent the last few days getting ready for a hurricane and today it took a route further west. Hate it for New Orleans, but it is ok that Isaac decided not to visit us here.

This card is for the February VSN Mini Challenge~ All The Twists and Turns. Kelly aka Schirmcat challenged us to use Flourishes on our cards. I always loved the BIG Flourish stamp in the Baroque Motif's set, so out it came! I punched some butterflies out of some pretty DP and added a few pearls.

August SFYTT Take Two

Good Saturday morning!
Hope your weekend has gotten off to a good start. This weekend is going to be a quiet one here. No bowling tournaments...maybe a little beach time is in order if it doesn't rain. We have had a wet summer here for sure. Wish I could send some of it to those states that are have drought conditions.

As you all know I am the guest designer for August with SFYTT. I love Jen's sketches and play along every month. This months sponsor is Verve Stamps and I pulled out my Up Up and Away set to work with this week. Love Verve stamps!!

Good Monday Morning!
I am off to New York today for a few days of work. Thought I would post a card that has been sitting in my drafts since February. Yikes!
This card is is one I did for the VSN Mini Challenge~3D Flowers. Barbara aka bejoyce challenged us to make a card/project that has one or more handmade flowers. I just happened to have the new MFT Dienamics Pretty Posies Die and decided to use it along with the MFT Wed Stamp Club #58 layout. I love working with the Pretty Posies. So much fun!

You Are Purrfect

Happy Wednesday!
Storms came rolling through yesterday afternoon and my internet and tv service went kaput. Never really know how much we rely on the internet until we don't have it. No paying bills, no uploading cards, no blog posts, no PINTEREST....OMG!!  After a go round with ATT, we finally have some things restored tonight.
