Spring Poem

Happy Monday!!
I kind of disappeared from the blog this past week.....Life puts little bumps in the road as my Mom says. I had a big bump this past week. But, I will just jump in the ole Hummer and scale that mountain, lol!

This past weekend we had a Virtual Stamp Night over on Splitcoaststampers. I love doing the VSN's and this time I was a hostess for one of the challenges. My challenge had to do with the Spring Poem...

"Spring has sprung!", said the bumble bee.
"How do you know?", said the old oak tree.
"I just saw a daffodil blooming on a windy hill!"

I challenged everyone to make a card or project using one or more of the elements of the poem. It was a fun challenge!
I chose to use the Flourishes set Signs Of Spring, with the pretty daffodils and little chicks. The layout is the March Sketch For You To Try.

Stamps: Flourishes Signs of Spring
Paper: Crate Paper Emma's Shoppe, Pretty In Pink, Melon Mambo
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Copics Flourishes Daffodill Collection and The New Leaves Collection, BG10, Ribbon, Copics, Swiss Dots EF

Enjoy!

  3. Forgot to add to my earlier comment that I hope all is well with you! Hope there was nothing serious found in your "bump in the road" last week!
