Deck the Birdhouse

***Edited to Add*****
This card was featured on the MFT Blog as a Favorite Find! Check it out Here!

Happy Tuesday Everyone!

My card is for today's SCS Color Challenge~Cherry Expresso Party. Love the colors that Betty picked but really kept thinking about chocolate covered cherries! Lol!

I decided to make a holiday card with the MFT Birdhouse set. Love that Dienamics set! Since it is a wintry card I added some snow er.....Frosted Lace Stickles. Not that I am ready for snow anytime soon! For the dessert option to add something corrugated....the closest I came was the embossing on the birdhouse to give it some dimension. I slipped a little green in there as one of my neutrals.
The layout is this weeks MFT Wed sketch #38.

Paper: Cherry Cobbler, Early Expresso, Pool Party, Memory Box Mistletoe
Ink: Antique Linen and Vintage Photo Distress Ink

I am also entering my card in the following challenges:

Girl Talk

Happy Wednesday and over the hump day! Yeah! I didn't get my Color Combination card posted yesterday. Something to do with camera batteries going dead....

So here is my card today for this weeks' SCS Color Combination Challenge~Tempting Pumpkin Olive. Dessert~add some leaves. Vicki is the hostess and color picker this week! Love the fun color combo but had to really think about how to use the colors. Definitely a CAS card was in order!

I decided to upholster a PTI couch in a fun summery floral. Something that you would see in a condo at the beach. Of course all of us girls need to get together at that condo for some happy times and girl talk, don't you think?

Happy Tuesday!
It's time for the Color Combination Challenge on Splitcoaststampers and I am the hostess this week!
Since I am not ready for summer to be over, I chose to go with colors with names that have to do with summer. Peaches, Poppies and Pools! Gotta love that the colors all start with the letter "P". I really did not do that on purpose, lol!

I attended the MFT Release Party last week and had a blast! They have some awesome stamps and Die-namics this month that I just couldn't resist. And my new toys came in time to use for today's challenge.
The layout for my card is this weeks MFT Sketch Challenge #36.
I know I will be using the birdhouse die-namics a lot. And the fence...it cuts and embosses all at the same time!

Stamps: MFT Homespun Birdhouse, MFTWSC36
Paper: Pool Party, Poppy Parade, My Minds Eye Stella & Rose Mabel
Ink: Poppy Parade, Peach Parfait, Memento Rich Cocoa
Accessories: Homespun Birdhouse and Fence Die-Namics, CB Large Dot EF, Sponge Dauber, Peach Half Pearl

SCS Featured Stamper and Taylored Expressions Sketch

Good Monday Morning! What a wonderful weekend we had here! No rain, just beautiful skies and temperatures to go with it. I spent some time in my craft room on Saturday, cranking out some cards. Yesterday was the Pensacola All Stars Bowling Tournament. I made the Sr Women's Team this year. We were pitted against the Sr Men Team and it was not pretty. One of the guys on their team rolled a 298!! No way us girls had a chance, lol! Great fun though.

My card is for this week's SCS Featured Stamper Challenge~You Can't Go Wrong With....Lisa Lynn Wright. Lisa's gallery is full of wonderful cards! I chose a recent one Birthday Silhouette to CASE. I changed the Colors, Stamp Set and used this weeks Taylored Expressions Sketch #146 for the layout.

Stamps: Taylored Expressions Discover Your Wings
Paper: SU Rich Razzleberry, PTI Bitty Dot Basics Soft Stone
Ink: Rich Razzleberry
Accessories: Morocco Lace Border Punch, Ribbon

Happy Tuesday!! If you had a long holiday weekend, I hope it was a good one. Due to Tropical Storm Lee, my three days were spent inside. What better excuse to work on cards! lol! We didn't float away but we sure had the rain, the wind, and tornado watches and warnings. I sure missed my relaxing beach time! This morning the temps are in the sixties! Fall is just around the corner even here in the south!

This card is for today's SCS Color Combination Challenge~Always So Crazed. Mary has picked some fabulous fall colors (even though I really am not ready to go there, lol) and the dessert option...a fall card!
I have always admired Theresa Momber's card techniques, so I tried my hand at casing her with this card. The layout is from this weeks Sunday Sketch and Stamp #71.

Paper: White, Cajun Craze, So Saffron, Always Artichoke
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa, So Saffron, More Mustard, Cajun Craze
