Happy Tuesday!! Can you believe that next Tuesday is in September?? Better enjoy the last remnants of summer! Where oh where did it go?

These cards are for today's SCS Color Combination Challenge~Cutting the Cherry Calypso Mustard". Karen is the hostess and I must say I struggled with these colors. My thoughts ran the gamut of ...a fall card?....maybe a Christmas card?.....not the right colors for Halloween....do I have any DP that match these?.....LOL! I gave up and went with CAS Birthday cards! And that is times 3! Tell me which one you like the best!

SCS Featured Stamper Challenge

Good Monday Morning!
Hope you had a fab weekend! Mine was spent catching up on household chores and making cards. A certain family member decided to have a gallbladder attack that landed him in the hospital and had a procedure to remove a lodged stone. Gallbladder will come out in six weeks after a mad pancreas  calms down, lol!

My card is for this week's SCS Featured Stamper Challenge~Forget About Strawberry Fields Forever..Lydia (Understandblue) is the stamper of the week. I am real familiar with Lydia's gallery as I have gone through it many times before. Love her cards! So, to give her honors I chose THIS CARD to CASE. I know how much she loves blue, so I changed the stamp image and colored it blue. I changed the cardstock color and added pearls and ribbon.

It has been quite a while since I have had a child "going back to school" but this year my daughter has decided to return to school and we have been feverishly working on applications and financial aid paperwork.So I really got into this challenge! Thanks Julia!

A favorite stamper/designer of mine is the Featured Stamper on Splitcoaststampers today. I just had to join in the challenge and give her some honors.

 The SCS Featured Stamper Challenge~She's Rejoicing in Every Moment of....Korin is the lady of the day!! I had the pleasure last year to be a Guest Diva for Sweet n'Sassy Stamps. Love Love Love their stamps and digis!
I knew exactly what I wanted to make when I saw this card in Korin's gallery.
I changed everything except the stamp/digi image. Used some paper that was in my stash just waiting for the perfect card....Kept the card monochromatic...Used today's CPS 232 sketch for the layout.

SCS Color Combo Challenge 336

Happy Tuesday!! How have you been? Me? Busy Busy!!
We had Bill's son and granddaughter visiting this past week. The house is not the same when you have a four year old keeping you company, lol! We went to the beach, checked out a couple of restaurants, went to the beach, played games on my I Pad, went to the beach, caught frogs and lizards and......... went to the beach!

Of course it is Tuesday and it is SCS Color Combo time.The challenge~ Blushing Wisteria Sand hosted by Joanne, one of our Paper Dolls group of friends. Love these soft colors for a card! The dessert option~ Clear and shiny.  I chose a card by Jane Casaldi out of the latest issue of Cards Magazine for my inspiration.

The edges of the card are sponged to give some definition to the Sahara Sand card base. The DP is StampinUp's Flirtatious in digital format. I love being able to download print paper and use it right away!  No   dessert on this one as I am trying to keep get slim and trim, lol!

Thought I would mix some things up this week and post on Friday instead of Tuesday. It has been kind of quiet around the house with company gone! I made my card for the SCS Color Combo Challenge but just kept putting off posting it. You know how you get when you sit down in front of the computer? I find so many places to go and things to see, I just don't know where the time goes! Do you ever think that there is a time warp thing going on when you are on the computer? lol!

My card is for several Splitcoast challenges. I started with this weeks Color Combo Challenge hosted by my PaperDoll fried Vicki. Wonderful combo of Tempting Turquoise, Going Gray and White.
The Dare To Get Dirty Challenges have been going on this week too. Hope you are a fan club member. This time of year is always awesome "gettin dirty"! Lol!
