For my card today I used "MFP's Presents: Our Family Tree from Speedy the Cat's Designer Collection". The trees in this set are fabulous!! I stamped the tree on MFP's Snow Storm Smooth paper with black ink. Then using Copics colored the bands from bottom to top to simulate a glowing sunset. Copic colors: G24, G21, RV11, V12, V15. On the RV11 and V12 layers touched a little Y15 in the color bands. The sunsets we see here over the water have golden yellow throughout the pinks.
Click on Photo to EnlargeThe image was cut out and layered on MFP Pink Freeze Sparkle, Basic Grey Euphoria DP and an embossed panel of MFP Special Mint. And...of course I added a pretty purple bow!! All of the supplies used today an be found at Mark's Finest Papers. The layout for the card is this weeks, Mercy's Tuesday Sketch #56. I cannot let a week go by without using one of her sketches!

Oh funky colors!! and they totally work :) Our mountain skies are more in the pink than the violet but they can look surreal as well. Don't have green grass though LOL.
