This digi is called "Snow Friends". Isn't he adorable? The background DP is from Rusty Pickle's Snowflake and Mittens. I colored the image with Copics and added Sugar Coating White glitter to his hat and Crystal Effects to the hearts. He is cut out using a coluzzle and then matted with a Kiwi Kiss circle scallop nestie. The sentiment is cut out with a SU Word Window punch and matted. The swirl candies are from my "stash box" of items I have collected over the years with the intent of "using them someday". Someday is today!

This card also fits this weeks SCS Sketch Challenge found here.
I chose Victoria's rubber stamp "Ella" to work with this week. She is sooooo adorable!! I colored her with Copics and added Flower Soft to the flowers all around. I struggled a little with the four background panels and ended up with simplicity, adding four round mosaic stickers.
Copics Used: B21, B34, R46, C3, W1, W5, atYou Spica Red
My second project for Robot Heart is on the masculine side. I decided to do a mini pizza box as the box is just the right size for gift cards for boys and men alike. The embossed foil background technique was on my list of "to do's", so this was the perfect opportunity to try it as well! The box is made with Bazzil Great Lakes paper. It is the most beautiful shade of blue! So...Robot Heart is colored with Copics in blue tones and cut out. The sentiment is computer generated and cut out with a Nestabilitie. Kaiser pewter pearls were added to the corners and the sentiment for a little more "metal" effect. The rivets on the heart are done with a silver metallic pen. Add a brad to the front with another pewter pearl in the middle and it's finished!
The two pictures below show the box in the making. You can find the instructions for the mini pizza box on Splitcoaststampers here.
The embossed foil background is fairly easy. Use "heavy duty" aluminum foil. For this project I used the Cuttlebug "Traffic" embossing folder. In the picture you will see another piece using the "Swirls" folder. The white frame is cut out using stacked square Nestabilities. Adhere to the top of the embossed foil being careful not to press out any of the foil image. Place on the top of the box. Add the cut out Robot and sentiment and your done!
I used a Coluzzle oval to cut out the image and layered it on a Pink Passion Nestabilitie Scallop Oval. This was then layered on paper cut with the SU Top Note Die. The DP is from the K&Co Que Sera Sera collection. The sentiment is from TGF Down by the Pond set and the finishing touch is a glittery ribbon from MFT.
I hope you will join in the challenge! If you do not have any Victoria Case Stamps, check out her website and email a request for one of the free ones she usually has available. Also if you participate, you will have the opportunity to be picked as one of the monthly guest designers.
Lets see those creations!! Link your creation to the VC Stamp Challenge Blog.

Victoria has new rubber stamp releases coming up soon as well as some new digital stamps around July 20th. Keep an eye out! You will not be disappointed!
This project also fits the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge to "cut it out and pop it up" as well as the Shabby Chicks Monthly Challenge to use something that comes from nature on your card/project.
I chose to use Victoria's Stork for my card. He (or is it a she...?) is colored with Copics. I found some paper in my cabinet from Creative Memories that was perfect for this card. Baby yellows, blues and greens! The green and blue top panels were embossed with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder. The felt buttons are from Hero Arts Fancy Felt collection.
The reason I did this card was because I had an idea for a gift box that I have been wanting to make for quite some time now. The tutorial is on the Scor-pal website as an Ornament Box. I kept the same dimensions as in the tutorial. The paper and felt buttons used on the box is the same as that on the card.
