Victoria Case Thursday Challenge

Geez...seems like it was last Thursday just yesterday!! Today is VCAD's weekly challenge. This week it is a color challenge using Lavender, Dark Brown and Ivory. I used one of Victoria's new digital releases "The Mermaid" for this weeks card. I wish I had a waist like her!! :) The layout for this card is the Friday Sketchers Week #56 Challenge found here. My sweet little mermaid is colored with Copics. I tried a new technique with her hair as I usually do not shade hair in this manner. Let me know what you think! The background lavender panel is embossed with the Cuttlebug Swirls folder. The ivory panels are embossed with the Bubbles folder. The scalloped ovals are cut with Nestabilities. Come on and join the challenge!! I can't wait to see what creations are made with this color combo.

Copics Used: E00, E11, E31, E37,V12, V15 and V17

Enjoy!

So pretty! Nice embossing and coloring. The purples are lovely and I like the jewels. So, do tell, what did you do with her hair? It looks great!
