Find Joy

Happy Tuesday!
Hope you had a great holiday weekend! My Labor Day excursion was driving across the Golden Gate Bridge and then out to Half Moon Bay for a look at the Pacific Ocean.  Beautiful day!

My card is for today's SCS Color Combination Challenge~Wild Gray Melon
This is a fabulous combination and I decided my dessert would be summers last hurrah. I could have summer all year long! I do not like seeing fall and cold weather come my way. My inspiration for this card is one I had pinned on Pinterest here.

Crazy4Challenges #251 and Pal Paper Arts

Happy Saturday!
Finally getting some rain here. Hope it doesn't last too long...
It is time for the Crazies and Helen has a fabulous challenge for you today. She says, "Make a card or  project using the photo below as inspiration. These are my absolute favorite colors  and also my favorite flowers. I'd love to see what you come up with! Think pretty, soft, shabby..."

Those colors are beautiful!
I went with a baby card. Not sure what is going on with my camera but it is not cooperating these days with the right exposure....
The hearts are made with the SU Hearts Decorative Mask and Light Modeling Paste. I colored the paste with Pink Pirouette and Soft Sky re-inkers. Added glitter for some sparkle.
The layout is from this weeks Pals Paper Arts Challenge #217
Come on over and join in the challenges!
If you decide to play along with us upload the card to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword C4C251Don't forget to come back here and link it on Inlinkz so that everyone else can see it too. Go check out what the Crazies came up with this week!

It's Time for the Crazies!

Happy Saturday!
Made it back from Phoenix yesterday afternoon, just in time to get a card ready for today's Crazy4Challenges. Helen is our hostess this month and she wants to see at least one animal on your card. Just can't use bunnies or bears!

I have a new SU set that is perfect for this challenge. Hot Diggity Dog!
My card also uses the colors from this weeks SCS Color Combination Challenge~ A So Pretty Chip. Barbara chose So Saffron, Chocolate Chip and Pretty In Pink. Dessert- have dessert, lol. I figured dog bones were a dogs favorite dessert right?

Happy Happy Birthday!

Good Tuesday morning!
It has been a couple of weeks since I have been here....I have been to Phoenix for work week before last and will be going again in a couple of days. In between I made a trip to Reno and Palo Alto and rode/drove with Bill home. Took us 4 full days, went through eight states and drove 2400 miles. It really wasn't too bad and I got to see scenery that I have only seen from the air. California traffic is the pits. Took three hours to go 120 miles.... Texas is the never ending story state. It goes on and on and on. Never thought we would get across it, lol! Anyway...it is good to be home.

My card is for this week's Crazy4Challenges Challenge and today's SCS Color Combination Challenge~ A Cherry Delightful Wild Party. Karen is our hostess and her dessert option is NOT to use flowers as the focal point of your card. I cannot believe Karen is doing this to herself! She always makes spectacular flowers as the highlight of her cards.

I have quite a bit of new schtuff sitting on my desk, so I pulled out this adorable PI Girl with the Happy Banner to use for both challenges. Isn't she adorable?
I just love the MFT Confetti background stamp and used all the colors from today's challenge on it. Then sprayed it with some pearl glimmer mist.

Enjoy!
