Adore You!

Happy Tuesday!!
Hope your week is going well. It is busy here as we are finishing up some home remodeling and company is coming today! Yeah!

My card is for today's SCS Color Combination Challenge~ Wonders of the Lost Olives. Karen always comes up with the cutest names for our challenges! Dessert is "Oval" and I am having dessert today!! This was a quick and simple card to make. I used one of the watercolor notecards from Concord & 9th and stamped the oval, sentiment and leaves. Added a little flower and a couple of hearts that have a touch of wink of stella glitter on them.

Enjoy!

Crazy4Challenges~ National Kite Day

Happy Saturday!!
Made it back from "Cold" Vegas! Nothing like going to Las Vegas and they have a winter storm. Lots of wind and rain and hard freezes. It was still fun!

It is the first Saturday of February and I am your hostess this month over at Crazy4Challenges. National Kite Flying Day is coming up on the 8th so the challenge is to use a kite or a kite shape on your card/project.

I went straight for the MFT Adorable Elephants set to use today. This set is one of my all time favorites.

I used the colors from this week's Color Throwdown Challenge #378

And the layout is from this week's MFT Sketch Challenge #266

If you decide to play along with us upload your card/project to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword C4C322. Don't forget to link it on Inlinkz on the Crazy4Challenges Blog, so that everyone else can see it too. Go check out what the Crazies came up with this week!

Crazy 4 Challenges~ POP!

Happy Saturday!
I see it has been a while since I posted here. Traveling for work and a little bit of surgery kind of put me on the back burner with making cards. But I am here today with a fun challenge from our hostess Frances and the "Crazies".
Frances says "the 19th of January was National Popcorn Day, so let's add some "POP" to our cards, be it creating a card that includes the theme popcorn; creating a Pop Up card; just Popping up your image using foam tape or just adding a Pop of color to a black and white card."

I have had a card by Laura Bassen pinned on Pinterest that I have been wanting to CASE and thought this challenge was the perfect opportunity. I did "pops" of bright colors on a white card and then "popped" up the circles of color with foam tape.

If you decide to play along with us upload your card/project to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword C4C320. Don't forget to link it on Inlinkz on the Crazy4Challenges Blog, so that everyone else can see it too. Go check out what the Crazies came up with this week!

Tons of Fun!

Happy Saturday!

It is time for Crazy4Challenges! Frances is our hostess and  she says...

Yesterday was Bubble Bath Day. So for our challenge this week, include something that relates to bubbles on your card. You could of course include a bath with bubbles, or kids blowing bubbles, fish with bubbles, create a background using colored bubbles etc.

I pulled out the super cute MFT Adorable Elephants set and finished a quick card.

The colors are from this week's CAS Color and Sketch Challenge #155.

The card layout is from this week's CAS(E) this Sketch! challenge #154.
